Clive has over 20 years’ experience in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology business. He was CEO and co-founder of PowderMed, which was sold to Pfizer in 2006 having raised over £20m since inception. Following post-doctoral roles and a period at Ciba-Geigy (now Novartis), Clive joined Glaxo/GlaxoWellcome where he became UK Research Director. Other previous roles include as SVP of R&D PowderJect Pharmaceuticals, which was acquired by Chiron for £550 million in 2003, Chairman of the UK BioIndustry Association and Auralis Ltd (now Viropharma). He is currently CEO of Convergence Pharmaceuticals and Chair of Crescendo Biologicals and Touchlight Genetics.
