Alex is a partner at Aquarius Equity Partners, where he is responsible for identifying new investments. He also works with founders and management teams to develop opportunities and scientific strategies pre and post investment.
Alex has a PhD in Molecular Virology and worked in the pharmaceutical industry for an NYSE quoted drug development company, before moving into venture capital investment. He worked for IPGroup plc, identifying, developing and investing in early stage life science companies, a number of which went on to list on AIM. Alex also established IPGroup’s drug development subsidiary, Modern Biosciences, before joining Aquarius in 2008.
